Halloween Trails 2011

Established in 1931 on wooded hills along the Wapsipinicon River north of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Camp Hitaga's summer resident camp serves boys and girls entering grades 1 through 12 in the fall, providing fun and personal growth in a non-competitive, natural environment.

All youth are welcome.
Financial aid and opportunities to earn discounts may be available.

Camp Hitaga's facilities and programs - including our Challenge Course - are also available for use by other organizations and private groups, especially before and after our summer sessions, and are popular with scouts, day cares, church groups, sororities, archery clubs, and for family reunions.

Camp Fire USA’s mission of "building caring, confident youth and future leaders" provides the foundation for all our fun programming. Both at Camp Hitaga and in year-round Camp Fire clubs, youth (and adults) are encouraged to explore, discover, and become independent while also learning to cooperate with each other in deciding upon, planning, and participating in group activities – from cookouts to trips to service projects.

Call Camp Fire USA Iowana Council today at 319-294-2411 for more information about Camp Hitaga, or about joining or starting a Camp Fire club!  Or, e-mail info@camphitaga.org or info@iowanacampfire.org
